News
The CAAVC has won the Chicago Tournament hosted by University of Chicago volleyball
group on August 20, 2005. The competing teams were UIUC(1), UIUC(2), IUPUI, NW-UC,
and CAAVC. Our team won the first place in the first round beating 4 other teams.
In the semi-final round, we defeated IUPUI and headed into the championship. In the
championship games, we faced UIUC(2) which we defeated by 15-13 in the first round. Even
though we lost the first game due to fatigue, we came back and won 2 games (2-1) to take
the championship title for the tournament. Congratulations to the team!

Chicago Asian American Volleyball Club requires a strong level of commitment from the players.
This commitment is both financial and time. There are no membership dues in our club.
Funds are collected only when renting courts, or paying tournament fees and team uniform.
The club season runs all year long. Practice days
and locations are posted on the CAAVC web site and may vary with advanced notice.
