3 Steps Spike Approach
A skill for the beginners, requires a good approach to perfect the skill.
1. First step out on the left leg, step out with toes to the ground (not heel),
reach out both arms forward
2. Plant your right then left foot with your arms swing backwards
3. Jump up and bring both arms upwards in the air
4. Make contact with the ball with straight arm swing
5. Make sure the ball is slightly in front of you, not over or behind your shoulder
6. Land with both feet to release impact and ready for transition
